Welcome to the search portal for Aalto Repository, Aalto University’s long-term preservation system. The implementation of the repository is at development beta phase, not all content or functionalities are available at this time. The portal is intended for searching, viewing, downloading, and linking to the system’s materials. The repository contains digital objects related to theses, diploma and student works, creative outputs, projects and documents related to Aalto University and its predecessors’ activities. The system ensures the accessibility and usability of permanently preserved content created at the University.
Using the content
The content is categorised into collections and their associated series with descriptive information. Each object has descriptive information available, such as the names of creators, titles, dates and usage rights. Creative Commons or Rightsstatements InC-EDU (In Copyright – Educational Use Permitted) licenses are displayed with each object for usage rights. All creators, licenses and Aalto Repository as the source must be respected and cited according to good citation practices.
Search tips
You can browse collections under “Browse Collections”. Enter keywords in the “Enter keyword(s)” field and click the search button under “Archive”. Keywords can be truncated using the * (asterisk). Combine keywords with AND, OR and NOT operators.
